With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garnett Eugene Bell of Fayetteville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Nova Lynn Bell; his sons, Michael Eugene Bell and Garnett William Bell; his parents, Garnett Welch Bell and Lola Mae Bell McCombs; his sister Lola Fay Bell Whelan; and his nephew Jerry Boaze.

He is survived by: his wife Nam-Xuan Pham Bell of Fayetteville, Ark.; his children, Andrea Bell of Russellville, Ark., Scott Bell of Monterey, Calif. and Elisabeth Bell of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Jonathan Nicholaus Bell, Matthew, Hannah, Adam, Jacob Bell of Monterey, Scarlett Ready of Fayetteville and Belle Adora Jones of Fort Smith, Ark.; and his nephew Shawn Sullivan of Orlando, Fla..

A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (1000 S Lt Col Leroy Pond Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701).

Bill requested no flowers ; instead, donations may be given to The National League of P.O.W./M.I.A. Families (pow-miafamilies.org).
