He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gathright and Eather Stanton Gathright; his wife Patricia Hughes; and his siblings, Lyn, Glen, Dale and Doris Hughes Conley.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Gathright McNair (Mark); and his grandchildren, Lauren Sapone (Tadd), Cole McNair (Caroline), Stella of Fayetteville, Julian Sapone of Fayetteville, Evelyn of Fayetteville, Avery of Fayetteville and Charlotte McNair of Fayetteville.
