It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floy Partain York of Fayetteville, Arkansas, born in Caledonia, Mississippi, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Partain and Floy Partain; her husband John Owen "Rudy" York; and her cousins, Louise Sanders Logan of Steens, Mississippi., Lewis Alston Sanders of Steens, Mississippi., John Winston Sanders (Bob) of Steens, Mississippi. and Earnest Adrian Sanders of Steens, Mississippi..
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth McNair (Philippe Douet) of Richardson and Margaret Mitchell (Aaron) of Dallas, Texas; her brother John Harvey Partain of Caledonia, Mississippi; and her grandchildren, Sarah McNair of Marquette and Samuel Owen Mitchell of Dallas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
