He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Astride; his parents, Hubertus Seifen and Ida Seifen; his daughters, Charlotte Seifen Ameringer (Kurt Ameringer) and Dorothee Seifen Mecum (Gideon Mecum); his grandson Benjamin Mecum; his son Nicolaus Seifen (Douglas Kent); and his grandchildren, Annalise, Elijah, Joshua and Aaron Seifen.
