He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Cecil and Helen Mildred Easter Laird; and his siblings, Jimmy Lee Laird and Sherron Kay Laird. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Laird; his stepdaughter Alexandria; his son-in-law Nick Cawthon of Cave Springs; his grandson Cooper Cawthon of Cave Springs; his mother-in-law Jean Boucher of Centerton; his sister Ann Laird of Hindsville; his niece Jennifer Vann (Jimmy) of Bunch, Oklahoma; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dustin Stephenson, Aaron Stephenson, Maggie Stephenson, Miah Stephenson and Adalina Stephenson; his niece Michelle Smallman of Huntsville; his great-nephew Thomas Smallman; his nephew Michael Keck (Jannie) of Huntsville; and his great-niece Hazen Keck.
