He is survived by: his wife Vera Reynolds Nichols; his children, Chad Stephenson (Leslie), Jackie Grossman (Greg), Marcy Bookout (Clay White), Mandy Dewitt and Chris Brumley (Amy); and his siblings, Nadine Phillips (Ben), Brenda Moon, Zebbie Stephenson and James Stephenson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
