She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Goodin and Ruby Goodin; her husband Charles Thomas Reed, Sr.; her sisters, Betty Littrell and Billie; and her grandson Seth Reed.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Alverson (Troy), Charlene Thompson (Shawn) of Lowell and Charle Reed, Jr. (Brandi Seratt) of Fayetteville; and her grandchildren, Josh Jameson, Amber Jameson and Hanna Jameson.
