It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claibourne W. Bass (Fayetteville, Arkansas), born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on November 13, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Walter R. Bass, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, Anne Bass Fulk of Little Rock, Cooper Bass of Little Rock and Robert Bass of Little Rock. He is survived by: his parents, Walter Richard Bass and Mildred Walker Bass; his wife Catherine W. Bass; his son Jon Bass of Portland, Oregon; his brother Hugh Bass (Rita) of Springfield; and his stepchildren, Amanda Tieaskie (Jeff) of Fayetteville, Max Moore (Kelly) of Fayetteville and Wendy Dunn (Whitley) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
