He was predeceased by: his parents, Price Barnes and Minnie B. Barnes (Young); his wife Mary Ellen; and his siblings, Martha, Patsy, Edward and Tommy.
He is survived by: his children, Lucinda White of Fort Smith, Andrea Dlouhy of Torrance, California, Carl Barnes, Jr. of Missouri and Gary Barnes of Van Buren; and his sister Mary Lou Huckeby of Van Buren. He is also survived by six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
