He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mae Pennington (Collier) and Wardell Pennington; his sister Betty Lou Pennington Daniels; and his great-niece Sloane Simmons Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Pennington (Mayhan); his daughters, Misty Marie Mayhan of Maumelle and Lori Adams (Ken) of Jonesboro; his brother John G. Pennington (Sue) of Newport; his grandchildren, Devin Mayhan, Bailey Mayhan, Chloe Hopkins, Rylee Hopkins and Maggie Adams; and his great grandchild Oliver Moorehead.
