Billy Joe Wilson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Joe Wilson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Billy Joe shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Billy Joe farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Ellis and Mattie Belle Wilson; his brother Hugh Wilson; his grandson Spencer Franklin; and his daughter Shelly Lynn Robbins.

He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Jo Wilson; his daughters, Anita Kaye Sullivan and Sherry Tisdale of Fayetteville; and his sister Anne Belle Glisson of Springdale.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Round Mountain Missionary Baptist Church (18730 Lake Sequoyah Dr, Fayetteville, AR 72701). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Round Mountain Cemetery.
