She was predeceased by: her parents, Eathel Tomlinson and Mary Lou Mugley Tomlinson; her husband Kenneth E. Murphy; and her siblings, Annie Friddle, Mabel Villines, Fannie Belle Tomlinson, Jewell Stephens, Alfred Tomlinson and David Tomlinson.
She is survived by: her sons, Danny E. Murphy (Wanueta) of Fayetteville and Bobby Joe Murphy (Peggy) of Fayetteville; her sister Wanda Harris; her grandchildren, Amanda Speck (Roger), Tera Murphy and Clint Murphy (Lynn); and her great grandchildren, Weston Speck, Wyatt Speck, Walker Speck and Autumn Murphy.
