She was predeceased by: her parents, Nazaire Bougie and Sousanne Bougie (Grimshaw); and her siblings, Joan Vandale and Robert "Butch" Bougie. She is survived by: her husband Koei Nakanishi; her sons, Mark Nakanishi (Lori) of Centerville and Daniel Nakanishi of Conway, Arkansas; her granddaughter Katrina McQuay (Mathew); and her sisters, Brenda Blain and Debbie Bougie of Connecticut.
