He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy "Buss" Hawkins and Myrtle Hawkins; his son Roy Clesten "Buddy"; and his brother James Keith Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Pat Hawkins; his children, Karen and Jeff Hawkins; his brother Ralph Hawkins (Wilma); his grandchildren, Catie, Charity, Ethan, Kennedy, Koby and Molly; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Hadley, Thomas, Raelyn and Oceana. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as a ton of friends.
