He is survived by: his spouse Elizabeth Arlene Nelson Tate; his daughters, Charolette Mefford (Nathan) of Springdale and Carmen Garrett (Chuck) of Bentonville; his grandchildren, Sheri Brady (Jeff) of Springdale and Kelly Hughes (Mike) of Springdale; his great grandchildren, Dylan Hughes of Springdale and Kaitlyn Brady of Springdale; and his sister Lucile Cann.
