He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Johnson and Zola Johnson (Thomas); his wife Twila Jo Johnson; and his daughter-in-law Laurie Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy D. Johnson Jr. of Southhaven, Dwight Johnson (Holli) of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana and Nicole Bynum of Farmington, Arkansas; his sister Rosie Beeks of Farmington, Arkansas; and his stepsons, Billy Maughon (Patty) of Bosier City, Mark Maughon of Andalusia, Alabama and Donnie Maughon of Andalusia, Alabama. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
