It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Evans Brand Jr. of Farmington, Arkansas, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Evans Brand and Irene Brand; his wife Betty Jo; his siblings, R. L. Brand, Christine Wisemore and Fay Louis; and his grandson Austin Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Johnson (Tommy) and Barbara McClendon (Bobby); his siblings, L. J. Brand and Lois Tumbleson; his granddaughter Tammy Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Colby Rogers and Emerson Ponder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to be made to the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, 1100 North College Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 72703-1944.
