He was predeceased by: his wife Zona Lorraine Ray; and his sister Wanda Yates. He is survived by: his children, Michael Ray (Robin) and Teresa Ray; his grandchildren, Garland Spinks (Gentry), John Spinks (Abby), Megan Anderson (Billy), Amanda Ray and Conner Ray (Christina); his great grandchildren, Eli Spinks, Lee Spinks, Tyler Spinks, Kendra Anderson, Brooks Anderson, Riley Kilpatrick, Eleanor Anderson and Canaan Ray; and his siblings, Tom Haney (Diane), Betty Daily, Lenda Crosby and Retha Higley (Paul). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
