It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flora June Lyon of Farmington, Arkansas, born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Mitchell and Arvina Mitchell; her husband John "Jake" Wesley Lyon; her siblings, Johnnie Faye Dickson and Voyle "Butch" Mitchell; and her mother-in-law Linda Lyon.
She is survived by: her brother Robert Vernon Mitchell (Carolyn) of Fort Worth, Texas; her father-in-law Bill Lyon of Cabot, Ark.; her sister-in-law Joyce Lyon Curry (Bill) of Cabot, Ark.; and her nieces and nephews, Deliese Catterson (Paul) of Olympia, Wash, Mary Beth Dickson of Billings, Mont, Tracy Mitchell of Fort Worth, Sheila Mitchell of Fayetteville, Julie Worlow (Brett) of Fayetteville, Laura Huett of Jacksonville, Leslie Curry of Jacksonville, Ark., Thorp Mitchell (Stephanie) of Fort Worth and John Curry (Leslie) of Ward, Ark..
