He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Watson Wooten; his former wife Beatrice S. Wooten; his brother Reece Lee Wooten; and his son Billy Winn Wooten, Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, John Watson Wooten of Graham and James Winston Wooten of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Heather Edson, Kimberly Johnson and Scott Wooten; and his sister Betty Jean McLarey of Sherwood.
