He is survived by: his daughters, Ginger Clark (Lonnie) of Mountain View and Angela Sutherland (Brien) of Concord; his siblings, James Ray Royal (Eva) of Evening Shade and Kay Rodgers (Aubrey) of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Jessica Royal, Jamie Hill (Ryan), Joseph Royal (Maddi), Alan Swan (Candace), Candace Branscum (Hunter), Preston Clark (Brandi), Sydney Stephen, Josey Sutherland and Katie Sutherland; his daughter-in-law Charolette Royal of Evening Shade; and his close friend Willene Norris of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
