He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Hudspeth and Sinda Lou Martin Hudspeth; his former wife Gladys Hudspeth; and his sisters, Bevie Reeves, Verda McMasters and Cleffie Copeland (Tip).

He is survived by: his wife Gean Hudspeth; his sons, Harvey Hudspeth Jr. (Myra) of Arkadelphia and Kenneth Hudspeth (Beverly) of Harrison; and his grandchildren, Heath Hudspeth, Seth Hudspeth, Matthew Hudspeth, Caleb Hudspeth and Lydia Hoffman. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
