He was predeceased by: his parents, Janie Montez Howerton (Matthews) and Winford Howerton; his brother Glenn Ray Howerton; and his nephew Hunter Grant Howerton. He is survived by: his children, Corey Howerton of Eureka Springs, Ashley Warren (Naaman) of Harrison and Melissa Cope (Purvis) of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; his grandsons, Trevor Howerton (Riley) and Austin Howerton; his great grandchildren, Waylyn Howerton, Kinsley Youngblood and Semion Howerton; and his nephew Steven Howerton.
