He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Morgan and Marjorie Morgan; and his sister Leila Ellis. He is survived by: his caregiver Jeff Loupe of Dallas; his son Russell Langley (Alberta) of Calgary; his brother Dr. Ron Morgan of Marietta; his niece Michelle Bovencamp; and his nephew Jason Perna of Colorado.
