He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover R. Hicks and Velma Stinson Hicks; his wife Betty Lou Hicks; and his brothers, Jimmy R. Hicks and Michael R. Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Hicks (Jan) of Woodinville, WA, Kenneth Hicks of Hephzibah, GA, Richard Hicks of West Monroe, LA and Teresa Edwards (Frank) of Lebanon, TN; and his siblings, Bruce Hicks of Eudora, AR, Thomas Hicks of Dickson, TN, Donnie Hicks of Monticello, AR, Betty Sue Crippen of Mobile, AL, Patsy Whittington of Addis, LA, Becky Hoffman of El Paso, AR, Barbara Johnson of El Paso, AR and Cathy Jones of Carlisle, AR. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous special nieces and nephews.
