It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlton Travis Gillum of Eudora, Arkansas, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Velma Hamilton Gillum; his children, Susan Elaine Nichols and Jeffrey Lee Gillum; and his parents, Terrell Gillum and Gertie Poole Gillum.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Gillum of Lamar and Larry Gillum (Alyson) of Pearl, Mississippi; his children-in-law, Donald Nichols of Eudora and Suzee Gillum of West Monroe; and his grandchildren, Keith Nichols, Mitchell Nichols, Breanne McLendon (Shane), Kayla Pfister (Jonathan), Morgan Gillum and Lia Gillum. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
