She was predeceased by: her husband Ester H. Ellis; her children, Patsy Ellis Stephenson and Lester C. Ellis; her parents, Oscar Ward and Evelyn Haynes Ward; and her siblings, Benny Ward, Marie Sivils and Lucille Atkins.
She is survived by: her son Randall Alan Ellis of Eudora; and her grandsons, Steven Ellis of Maumelle and Brian Keith Ellis of Fayetteville. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
