He is survived by: his sister Betty; his children, Sharon Camille, Jacqueline Denise, Kimberly Lynn, Bobby Keith and Jaci; his children-in-law, Benjamin, Gerald Sr., Edward Jr. and Kimberly Darnell; his grandchildren, Tamara (Tevin), Gerald Scott II, Byran Christian, Paris Brittany, Navon Yamir, Zachary Elijah, Kayla Darnell and Tyler Louis; his great grandchildren, Layla Rose and Gerald III; his siblings, Jack Troy, Herbert Lee (Lillie), Juanita, Evelyn, Bertha, Robinette (Rainey) and Joverna (Roosevelt); and his siblings-in-law, Richard, Eldon (Lucille), Earnest Jr. (Freddie), Louvenia, Earnestine, Bernadine, Dorothy (O. V.) and Evalet (Joe). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
