He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Ted Hefley; his sister Alice Faye Hefley; his wife Connie Hefley; his sons, Lynn Hefley of Cabot and Jayson Hefley of Austin; his stepsons, Gary Smart of Millington and Jason Smart of Charleston; his mother Virginia Hefley of Russellville; and his brother Jerry Hefley of Russellville. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.
