He was predeceased by: his parents, George Grimes and Maxine Brady Grimes. He is survived by: his significant other Margaret Simon Grimes; his sons, David Grimes (Laura) and Kenny Grimes (Melinda); his grandchildren, Cooper Grimes, Shelby Grimes, Annie Grimes, John David Grimes, Mary Caroline Grimes and Matthew Grimes; and his siblings, Paulette Rhodes (Mike), Clint Grimes (Charlsie) and Judy Tarrant (Rick).
