He is survived by: his wife Karen Archer Whitehead; his children, Beth Whitehead (Linda Lockwood) and Brad Whitehead (Jill); his granddaughters, Mallory and Lauren Whitehead; his pets, Roxie and Scout; his sister Mary Whitehead Powell; and his nephews, Jim Harris and James Davis.
