She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ray and Anna Belle "Lola" Hernandez; her children, Dwayne Petty and Carla Hernandez; her grandson Andrew Taylor; her siblings, Flossie Johnson, Peter Hernandez, Johnny Hernandez, Sylvester "Foots" Hernandez, Roscoe "Pete" Hernandez and Kenneth Russell Hernandez; and her sister-in-law Gloria Hernandez.
She is survived by: her children, Quinton Petty of Kansas City, Clarissa Murray of Kansas City, Cordella Hernandez of Kansas City and Shelene Jefferson of England, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Harold Pinks, Shanee Pinks, Maurice Newton, Aaron Clark, Isiah Petty, Shawleesah Pittman, James Avant and Kimberly Petty. She is also survived by great grandchildren and family and friends.
