He was predeceased by: his parents, Scid Howard and Elma Perry Howard of England; his son Terry Lamont Howard; and his siblings, Blanchie Brown, Dorothy Rhodes, Albert and Robert Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Matilda Charlene Howard of Little Rock, Arkansas; his sons, Mark Tracy Howard (Sharon) of Sherwood and Rodney Howard; and his siblings, Lorenzo Howard, Scid Howard Jr. of England, Willie C. Baker (Annie) of Oakland, California, Janice Cloird of Oakland, Heddy Wesley (Elisha) of Tucker and Erma Davis.
