He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Anne McKenzie McDonald; his parents, Ben McDonald and Virgie McDonald; and his siblings, Bill, Lyndell McDonald, Thelma Williams, Dorothy Leonard and Jean Rakestraw.
He is survived by: his daughters, Milicent McDonald and Rosalind Cheek; his son-in-law Scott Cheek; his granddaughters, McKenzie and Shelby Cheek; and his sister Dee Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
