He was predeceased by: his parents, Green Berry Combs and Maudie Mae Combs (Pierce); his daughter Carol Johnston (Combs); and his siblings, Betty, Danny and Billy.
He is survived by: his spouse Sirlena Combs; his son Larry Combs (Sandra); his former wife Linda Combs (Iles); and his daughters, Janel Iles, Janae Tableriou (Iles) and Jamie Abshire (Iles). He is also survived by several grandchildren, including two great granddaughters and one great grandson.
