He was predeceased by: his father George Bertrand; his wife Patsy Sue Yates (Dodson); and his siblings, James Wallace Yates and Margarette Humphries. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Benefield (Mike) of Emerson and Randy Yates (Debra) of Emerson; his grandchildren, Aimee Waller (DeWayne) of Emerson, Emily Baird (Jonathan) of Magnolia, Jeremy Yates (Paige) of Bentonville, Keli Dailey (Brett) of Centerview and Jordan Yates (Holly) of Emerson; his great grandchildren, Ty Waller (Abbie), Addie Leigh Baird, Cade Waller, Piper Baird, Haddon Baird, Josiah Baird, Judah Baird, Luke Yates, Jonah Dailey, Juliet Dailey, Lincoln Yates, Brooks Dailey, Landon Yates, Layton Yates, Chesney Yates and Bryce Dailey; his brothers, Charles Yates (Carolyn) of Magnolia and Gary Yates of Brister; and his brother-in-law Don Humphries of Shreveport, Louisiana. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
