He is survived by: his sisters, Rhonda Smith (Kenneth) and Ellen Vaughan; his children, Debra Phillips (Gary), Kim Burns (Robert), Anita Maxwell (Ethan) and John Wesley Vaughan, Jr. (Justina); his grandchildren, Damian Vaughan, Jordan, Rachel Woods, Robert Wayne Burns, Jr., Henley Phillips, Destiny, Kelsi May, Valerie Vaughan, Kailey Vaughan, Samantha Burns, Desiray Vaughan, Tesla Phillips, Oakley Phillips and Elliott Maxwell; his great grandchildren, Nathanial Stastney, Anistashia Woods and Isaac Emerson; and his grandchildren, Mike and Sylvia Jackson.
