He is survived by: his children, Tina Navarre Bennett (James) of Hammond, LA and Steve Navarre (Jamie) of Tickfaw, LA; and his brothers, Thadius Durell Cooper of Houston, TX and Timothy David Cooper of Houston, TX. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
