She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Carpenter, Sr. and Rogean Hampton Carpenter; and her brother Marcellas Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband Larry Clayton; her daughters, Carmen Randleston of Oakland, CA and Michele Randleston of Sweden; her grandchildren, Darnell Roberts of Emerson, AR, De'Andre Randleston and Asia Randleston of San Francisco, CA; and her siblings, Charles Carpenter, Jr. (Ann), Jarvis Carpenter, Leautry Carpenter, Charles Carpenter, III, John Carpenter, Shirley Hampton of San Francisco, CA, Rolanda Carpenter of Las Vegas, NV and Evelyn Carpenter of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
