He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth; and his son Lanny Downum. He is survived by: his parents, William Thomas and Martha Ellen Lovell Downum; his children, Mike Downum of Elm Springs, Beth Holcomb (John) of Siloam Springs and Dess Boaz (Bill) of Montgomery; and his daughter-in-law Laura Downum of Elm Springs. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
