It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derl Gene Howerton of Elm Springs, Arkansas, born in Compton, Arkansas, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Troy Howerton and Willard Minerva Cline Howerton; and his brother Melvin Howerton. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Howerton; his children, John Michael Howerton of Elm Springs, Aaron Paul Howerton of Rogers and Sarah Michelle Berrios (Michael) of Springdale; his siblings, Milford Howerton of Clyde, Don Howerton of Springdale and Sharon Rose of Hiwasse, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Carter Berrios, Xander Berrios, Aria Berrios, Graham Price, Hudson Price and Zeppelyn Howerton. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
