Ruth Hankins-Shepherd Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2023, at the age of 90, Ruth Hankins-Shepherd of Elkins, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Evans and Sally Evans (Sanders); her former husband Marvin Jasper Hankins; and her siblings, Ralph Evans, Margie Barnard, Maxine Hankins, Darlene Gulledge and Lois Jean Evans.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Shepherd; her children, Jasper Hankins (Dianne) of Elkins, Danny Hankins (Sharla) of Elkins and Joanie Mains (Doug) of Centralia, MO; her sister Virgie Nobles of Elkins; and her grandchildren, Carol Bowerman, Melissa Frost, Jarrod Hankins, Clay Hankins, Amanda Haney, Jason Mains and Cody Mains. She is also survived by ses five children, fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
