He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Simeon Briggs and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy Dyke; his significant other Patricia Dyke; his sons, James (Terri Dyke), David (Sylvia Dyke), Michael (Shelly Dyke), Douglas (Teri Dyke), Matthew (Mary Dyke) and Jerry (Amanda Dyke, II); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Dave), Esther (Matt), Stephen (Cindy), Rebecca (John), Darren (Alyssa), Mike (Jenni), Skylar and Emily. He was also cherished by fourteen great-grandchildren, and was dearly loved by nieces, nephews, and many other close relatives and friends.
