She was predeceased by: her parents, Handley B. Burton and Bessie L. Burton; her husband James Robert Battenfield (Bob); and her siblings, Robert Burton (Lorraine), Bruce Burton (Norma), Donald Burton and Anita (Burton) Dickerson (Carl).
She is survived by: her children, Frantz Robert (Katrina), James Bruce (Kathie) and Martha Brown (Ken); her grandchildren, Courtney Wassom (Matt) and Christen L Battenfield (Rajat Malhotra); and her great grandchildren, Garret Wassom, Ian Wassom, Olivia Wassom and Leo A Malhotra. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, and 23 great and great great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elkins Community Church (150 Church St, Elkins, AR 72727).
