Ruth Droddy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Droddy of Elizabeth, Arkansas, who passed away on April 16, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Willis and Doley Willis (Maricle); her husband Rayford Droddy; her sons, Jerry Wayne Droddy and James Ray Droddy; her grandchildren, Cory McHenry, Terry Wayne Droddy and Breanne Sonnier; and her siblings, Herman Willis, R. L. Willis, Jewel Lee Mancil, Burnell Stevens, Goldie May Willis, James Willis, Wanda Cloud and Hilton Willis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gaynelwn Sonnier of Mittie, Louisiana and Melvina Williams (Lofton) of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her sisters, Evelyn Long, Leona Dial and Louise Willis of Louisiana. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
