He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Miller and Marie Ermann Miller; his son-in-law Kevin Mayes; and his siblings, Louise Butler, Martin Miller and Raymond Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Nosal Miller; his children, Debbie Mayes, John Miller Jr. (Jan), Theresa Murtha (P. T.) and Cindy Spears (Steve); his grandchildren, Katelyn Murtha, Justin Murtha (Emily), Hayden Mayes, Madysen Mayes, Andrew Miller and Keli Spears; and his siblings, Romana Jones (Dwight) and Charles Miller (Mary).
