He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Arthur Hamann and Lorena Hamann (Longhenry); his sister Geraldine Swan; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Swan and Genevieve Hamann.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Katheryn Loy of Elizabeth, Arkansas; his children, Kathryn Goldman (Thomas) of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Robert Hamann (Kimberly) of Luck, Scott Hamann (Tracy) of Welch and Richard Hamann (Heather) of Cannon Falls, Minnesota; and his siblings, Donna Longendyke (Earl) of Butler, Tennessee, Ronald Hamann of Isabella and Dale Hamann of St. Paul, Minnesota.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
