He was predeceased by: his parents, Delford James and Eva Alice James (Crotts); and his siblings, Jake James (Betty) of Elizabeth, Rex James (Glenda) of Dolph, Arkansas, Erma Barnett (Gene) of Batesville, Arkansas, Bob James, Audene Barnett, Betty Sanders and Linda King.
He is survived by: his former spouse Nelta Rhudeen Dockins; his wife Rhudeen James of Elizabeth, Arkansas; and his children, Chuck James of Elizabeth, Stan James (Kelly) of Salem, Arkansas, Evonda Cunningham (Bobby) of Oxford, Kim Hutson (Barry) of Byron and Deana Baumunk of Elizabeth, Arkansas. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; one step grandchild; twenty four great grandchildren.
