With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peat Hudson of Elaine, Arkansas, who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Peat leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Peat may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvie Hudson and Myrtle Hickson; his wife Betty Hudson; his siblings, R. C., Myrte Lee Crawford and Alneca Caldwell; and his grandson Ray James.
He is survived by: his children, Sam Hudson of Elaine, Gene Hudson (Jennifer) of West Helena, Arkansas, JoAnn Carroll of Conway and Teresa Kaye Morelock (Sidney) of Boaz, Alabama. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home (508 Plaza, West Helena, AR 72390). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Roller-Citizens Funeral Home (508 Plaza, West Helena, AR 72390).
