She was predeceased by : her parents, John Lyles and Clara Lyles; her significant other Johnnie Thomas; and her children, Mary Ella Thomas-Greyson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Johnnie Thomas, Jr., Robert Thomas, Sr. (Leomia) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Levator Thomas (Janice) of Elaine, Arkansas, Thelma Duncan of Elaine, Arkansas, Willean and Henry Thomas.
She is survived by : her sons, Dennis Duncan (Janice) of Stockton, Virginia and Gregory Thomas (Sandra) of Fort Wayne; and her nieces and nephews, Carl Harris (Betty) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Robert Harris (Denise) of Fort Wayne, A. C. Harris of Stanford, Connecticut, Jacqueline Woodard (Donald) of Columbus, Ohio, Renae Harris-Hill of Columbus, Ohio and Claudia Harris-Stevenson of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by forty grandchildren, more than ninety great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren.
